Titanium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel
Improved resistance to intergranular corrosion at elevated temperatures
Cold rolled and hot rolled coils with EN 10204 3.1 certification
Stabilized stainless steel for elevated temperature and welded service. 316Ti stainless steel is a titanium-stabilized austenitic chromium-nickel- molybdenum stainless steel. The addition of titanium prevents chromium carbide precipitation during exposure to elevated temperatures, providing enhanced resistance to intergranular corrosion after welding or prolonged service above 425°C.

316Ti stainless steel is particularly suitable for welded components and high-temperature service. Compared with 316L, it offers better stability at elevated temperatures, while 316L may be preferred for lower-temperature applications requiring maximum corrosion resistance. Material selection should consider service temperature and fabrication method.
