Grade N52 sintered NdFeB delivers ultra-high magnetic energy (up to 52 MGOe class) for compact, high-holding designs
Custom shapes and magnetization options: disc, ring, block, arc, countersunk, multi-pole for EU/US OEM & industrial projects
Multiple coating systems and packaging methods for corrosion protection and safe international shipping
N52 sintered NdFeB (Neodymium-Iron-Boron) magnets are widely used where maximum magnetic strength is required in a compact footprint. Voyage Metal supplies N52 permanent magnets in multiple shapes and custom sizes, supporting OEM and industrial programs across Europe and North America.
Values shown are typical grade ranges. Actual magnetic performance depends on geometry, working air gap, mating steel, and assembly design.

| Coercivity (Hcb) | ≥ 10.8 | kOe |
| Intrinsic Coercivity (Hcj) | ≥ 12.0 | kOe |
| Maximum Energy Product (BHmax) | 50 – 52 | MGOe |
| Max Working Temperature (Standard N grade) | 80 | °C |
| Type | Common Shapes | Typical Use |
|---|---|---|

| Special Designs | Multi-pole, radial magnetized, custom profiles | Encoders, sensors, magnetic circuits |
For custom designs, sharing a drawing (2D/3D) and application details helps confirm feasibility and performance.
| Magnetization | Description | Common Applications |
|---|---|---|
| Axial (Through Thickness) | N/S poles on the two flat faces | Discs, rings, countersunk magnets |
| Diametric | N/S poles on opposite sides of the diameter | Cylinders used in sensing/rotation |

| Multi-pole | Multiple alternating poles on one surface | Encoders, magnetic scales, sensors |
| Coating | Protection Level | Typical Use | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ni-Cu-Ni | Standard | Indoor / general industrial | Most common finish for NdFeB |
| Epoxy | High | Humidity / mild outdoor | Enhanced corrosion resistance |
| Zinc (Zn) | Basic | Cost-sensitive applications | Lower corrosion resistance vs Ni/Epoxy |
| Custom (Black Nickel / Gold / etc.) | By requirement | Appearance or special needs | Confirm environment & compliance needs |
N52 is a grade designation for sintered NdFeB magnets indicating a very high maximum energy product (BHmax). In practical terms, it provides very strong magnetic performance per unit volume compared to lower grades.
Standard N52 magnets are typically recommended up to 80°C. If your operating temperature is higher, consider high-temperature grades (H/SH/UH/EH/AH) based on your demagnetization resistance requirements.
Yes. We support custom shapes, sizes, coatings, tolerances, and magnetization patterns (axial, radial, multi-pole). Share your drawing or dimensional requirements for evaluation.
Ni-Cu-Ni is common for general indoor industrial use. Epoxy is recommended for higher humidity. Zinc is a cost-focused option. Provide your operating environment so we can recommend the best option.
Please provide: shape, dimensions, grade (N52 or high-temp grade), coating, magnetization direction, operating temperature, environment (humidity/corrosion), quantity, and any drawing/performance target.
