5052-H32
Commonly selected where useful strength, good formability, corrosion resistance and weldability are required together.
5052 aluminum sheet and plate in O, H32 and H34 tempers, with custom sizes, ASTM B209/B209M where applicable, cutting, MTC and export supply.
Voyage Metal supplies 5052 aluminum sheet and plate for industrial fabrication, formed components, transportation equipment, marine-related fabrication and corrosion-resistant applications. Common purchasing tempers include O, H32 and H34, with other applicable material conditions available for project review.
Reference supply capability covers thicknesses from 0.1 mm to 500 mm, widths from 100 mm to 2650 mm and lengths from 500 mm to 16,000 mm. Availability depends on temper, dimensions, tolerance, quantity, processing and the applicable purchase specification.
Quick RFQ: Send temper + thickness × width × length + quantity + tolerance + surface + processing + destination.
The following dimensions are provided as a purchasing reference. They do not mean that every temper, thickness, width and length combination is continuously stocked.
| Item | Reference Supply | Purchasing Note |
|---|---|---|
| Product | 5052 Aluminum Sheet & Plate | Sheet or plate designation should follow the applicable specification and purchase order. |
| Thickness | 0.1–500 mm | Reference range; final availability depends on temper, width and specification. |
| Width | 100–2650 mm | Customized widths can be reviewed. |
| Length | 500–16,000 mm | Fixed or customized lengths are subject to order confirmation. |
| Primary Tempers | O / H32 / H34 | Other applicable tempers can be reviewed against the order specification. |
| Surface | Mill finish / project-specific requirement | Protective film or appearance requirements should be stated during RFQ. |
| Processing | Cut-to-size / shearing / sawing where applicable | Capability depends on thickness, temper and finished tolerance. |
| Documentation | MTC / MTR / inspection documentation | State certification and inspection requirements before order confirmation. |
Final dimensions, temper, tolerances, applicable standard, inspection scope and packaging are subject to order confirmation.
H32 and H34 are among the most frequently specified tempers for 5052 aluminum sheet. Selection should be based on the required balance of forming performance, strength and stiffness.
Commonly selected where useful strength, good formability, corrosion resistance and weldability are required together.
A higher work-hardened condition than H32, often considered where additional strength and stiffness are required.
The annealed condition is considered where greater forming capability is more important than the higher strength of work-hardened tempers.
Purchasing note: Mechanical properties vary with temper, thickness and the applicable product specification. Final acceptance should follow the agreed purchase standard and material certificate rather than general website values.

Composition values are provided as general reference limits for Alloy 5052. The applicable material specification and MTC/MTR govern order acceptance.
5052 is widely considered where resistance to marine and industrial atmospheric corrosion is important.
Suitable temper selection provides useful cold-forming characteristics for fabricated sheet components.
5052 offers good welding characteristics for many fabricated assemblies and equipment components.
5052 develops strength primarily through strain hardening rather than precipitation heat treatment.
It offers higher strength than commercially pure aluminum grades such as 1100 while retaining useful forming performance.
Used across transportation, equipment, enclosures, fabrication and suitable marine-related applications.
Custom width and length requirements can be reviewed according to order specifications.
Processing method depends on thickness, finished dimensions and required tolerance.
Temper should be selected according to bending and forming requirements.
5052 is commonly considered for welded sheet-metal and fabricated assemblies.
Protective film or project-specific appearance requirements can be stated during RFQ.
Thickness, width, length and agreed tolerances can be checked before shipment.
Final alloy temper and dimensions should be selected according to fabrication requirements and the intended service environment.
Vehicle panels, fabricated components and transportation equipment.
Suitable fabricated components where corrosion resistance and weldability are important.
Covers, panels, cabinets, enclosures and fabricated parts.
Formed and welded components requiring useful strength and corrosion resistance.
Panels and housings where lightweight, corrosion-resistant sheet is required.
Fabrication according to drawings, dimensional requirements and purchase specifications.
ASTM B209/B209M is commonly referenced for applicable aluminum and aluminum-alloy sheet and plate products. The required standard edition, alloy, temper, dimensions, tolerances and inspection requirements should be identified in the purchase order.
Material certification can be supplied according to agreed order requirements.
Thickness, width, length and specified dimensional tolerances can be verified.
Third-party inspection can be discussed when the required inspection scope is defined before order confirmation.
