MILL-FINISH ALUMINUM SHEET
Order 3004 aluminum sheet in O, H14, H24 or H34 temper, with dimensions and tolerances reviewed for your application. A grade name alone is not enough: confirm the temper, finished part geometry and surface requirements before comparing quotations.
Use these reference dimensions to start an inquiry. Available combinations depend on temper, thickness and processing requirements.
| Alloy and form | 3004 aluminum, flat sheet |
|---|---|
| Temper options | O, H14, H24 and H34, confirmed for the application |
| Thickness | 0.20–6.0 mm, or customized |
| Width | To your requested sheet width; final size subject to processing review |
| Length | 1,000–4,000 mm, or customized |
| Surface | Mill finish; appearance and protection requirements agreed before ordering |
| Specification | ASTM B209/B209M, EN 485 or GB/T 3880, as applicable and agreed for the order |
| Tolerance | Thickness, width, length and flatness requirements confirmed against the agreed specification |
| Documents and packing | Mill test certificate, inspection requirements and export packing confirmed for the order |
Dimensions are reference ranges. Customized sizes and each size/temper combination are subject to technical review and order confirmation. The listed specifications are alternatives to review, not a declaration that every order meets all of them.
State the complete designation on your inquiry, such as 3004-H14 or 3004-H24. If your drawing does not specify a temper, send the forming details so the requirement can be reviewed rather than guessed.
Include the part drawing, forming sequence and any specified bend or drawing requirements. Confirm the required final condition before ordering.
Quote the exact temper from the drawing or purchase specification. Do not interchange these designations solely because the sheet thickness is the same.
Where mechanical acceptance matters, specify the applicable test requirements and document limits for the selected temper and thickness. A generic alloy value does not replace the purchase specification.
These project examples show what to include in a material review. They are not a blanket approval of 3004 for every environment or manufacturing process.
| Your project | What to send for review |
|---|---|
| Formed covers and housings | Drawing, temper, bend geometry, finished dimensions and exposed-face requirements |
| Fabricated panels and liners | Sheet size, flatness, attachment method, service environment and any coating requirement |
| Pressed or drawn components | Blank dimensions, forming sequence, tooling constraints and part acceptance criteria |
Food-contact, pressure-service, structural or outdoor requirements need their own specification review. This sheet offering does not automatically cover can-body stock, foil or a finished coated building panel.

Mill finish is the base surface for this offering. Tell us which face will remain visible and whether scratches, handling marks or surface protection need specific acceptance criteria.
For cut sheets, include width and length tolerances, flatness and edge requirements. Do not apply one tolerance number to every thickness and width. Coated, embossed or other finished products require a separate scope review.
Specify the material certificate, traceability and any third-party inspection needed before the order is agreed. Document requirements and inspection scope are confirmed individually.
Share the destination, unloading method and any moisture, surface or edge-protection requirements. Export or custom packing is agreed with the order; it is not assumed from the sheet size alone.

Yes. Send the dimensions, temper, quantity and tolerance requirements. Customized sizes are reviewed for feasibility before the supply scope is confirmed.
Please also specify temper, thickness, width, length and quantity. Include the standard and application when they are defined. Missing details need to be resolved before quotations can be compared fairly.
This page covers flat sheet. Identify a coil, foil or specialist packaging requirement separately so its product form and acceptance conditions can be reviewed.
Include grade, temper, dimensions, tolerances, surface, quantity, standard, required documents, packing, application and destination. Attach a drawing when the finished part determines the material requirement.
