Source 904L stainless steel pipe and tube by grade, manufacturing route and required dimensions. Voyage Metal handles standard and custom requirements with specification confirmation before quotation. State UNS N08904 or EN 1.4539, then provide the applicable product standard, outside diameter, wall thickness and length.
For pipework, nominal pipe size and schedule alone may not describe every requirement. For heat-exchanger or equipment tubing, include the dimensional tolerances, end condition and inspection requirements. Final material selection depends on the service environment and project specification.

A grade name does not establish a pressure rating, corrosion limit or product certification. Confirm the standard edition, manufacturing route, dimensions and acceptance requirements together.
Specify seamless construction when required by the project. ASTM B677 is a reference specification covering UNS N08904 seamless pipe and tube; the applicable edition and order requirements still need review. Confirm dimensional tolerances, condition and required tests in the purchase specification.
For a welded requirement, provide the applicable product standard and required weld inspection or treatment. Do not apply a seamless-only specification to welded material. Ask the team to confirm the proposed production route and acceptance documents before approving the order.
904L may be considered for chemical-processing pipework, heat-exchanger tubing, pulp and paper equipment, and water-treatment systems. These are material-selection contexts, not a guarantee that the alloy suits every operating condition.

Yes. Send OD, wall thickness, length, tolerances and the required quantity. Custom feasibility is reviewed for the specific manufacturing route and specification; a custom request is not an automatic availability confirmation.
Not automatically. The service medium, temperature, design requirements and fabrication conditions must be reviewed. Keep the project-approved grade unless an authorized material-selection review permits a change.
Identify the required document type, test scope and traceability in the enquiry. If EN 10204 3.1 or independent inspection is required, ask for confirmation before ordering rather than assuming it is included.
Provide NPS, schedule, length, quantity and the applicable dimensional and product standards. Include any minimum-wall, tolerance or end-preparation requirements so that quotes can be compared on the same basis.
