Galvanized Steel pipe

Backed by 20 years of expertise, our galvanized steel pipes deliver unmatched durability and corrosion resistance for global industrial and construction applications.

Galvanized Steel Pipes: Premium Metal Solutions for Global Markets

1. Raw Material Composition

Our galvanized steel pipes start with top-tier raw materials to ensure structural integrity and long-term performance:

  • Base Steel: High-quality low-carbon steel grades, including S235JR(EN 10025), S355JR(EN 10025), Q235B(GB/T 700), and A36(ASTM A36). These grades offer excellent weldability, tensile strength(≥375 MPa), and yield strength(≥235 MPa), making them suitable for heavy-duty and low-pressure applications.
  • Zinc Coating: 99.95% pure zinc, compliant with ASTM B633 standards. The hot-dip galvanizing process applies a minimum zinc thickness of 85μm, with optional 100-120μm coatings for extreme corrosion environments (e.g., coastal areas, chemical plants).
  • Auxiliary Materials: Phosphating agents and cleaning solvents (free of heavy metals) for pre-galvanizing surface treatment, ensuring strong adhesion between the steel base and zinc coating.

2. Manufacturing Process

Our state-of-the-art production line follows a rigorous 7-step process to guarantee consistent quality:

  1. Steel Coil Inspection & Cutting: Premium steel coils undergo ultrasonic testing to detect internal defects. They are then cut into strips of precise width and length based on the target pipe size.
  2. Cold Roll-Forming: Steel strips are shaped into seamless pipe profiles using advanced roll-forming machines, with real-time dimensional monitoring to maintain OD/ID accuracy (tolerance: ±0.5 mm).
  3. High-Frequency Induction Welding: The formed steel profiles are welded using high-frequency induction technology, creating uniform, high-strength joints without material degradation. Post-welding annealing eliminates residual stress.
  4. Degreasing & Pickling: Pipes are immersed in alkaline degreasing solutions (50-60°C) to remove oil and dirt, followed by pickling in dilute hydrochloric acid (15-20%) to eliminate rust and oxide layers.
  5. Hot-Dip Galvanizing: Cleaned pipes are dipped into a molten zinc bath (445-455°C) for 3-5 minutes, forming a metallurgically bonded zinc-iron alloy layer (n,7,8 phases) that provides superior corrosion resistance.
  6. Quality Inspection: 100% visual inspection (for coating uniformity and surface defects) is complemented by dimensional testing (OD, ID, wall thickness) and adhesion testing (≥30 N/mm²). Optional ultrasonic testing is available for critical applications.
  7. Finishing & Customization: Pipes are cut to standard lengths (6m/12m) or custom lengths (up to 18m). End treatments include plain ends, threaded ends (NPT/BSP/BSPT, Class 2B accuracy), beveled ends (30°/45° for welding), or grooved ends.
